Suleyman Tuna

After graduating from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Mr. Tuna preceded his education at California State University, Los Angeles for a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.

Entrepreneurship and tackling complex and challenging projects being in the center of Mr. Tuna’s interest, he worked continuously on the field of structural engineering and construction since 1998.

Mr. Tuna’s professional experience prior to forming FORTUNA in Los Angeles in 2006 includes:

• Structural Engineer at Ipekar Engineering, Istanbul
• Civil Engineer Graduate Intern at City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation
• Senior Structural Engineer at Structural Design Plus, Inc.

Mr. Tuna is a registered professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of California and also maintains a California General Contractors License.
